OnlineRetreat Class Schedule

Sunday, June 7th from 8 AM - 5 PM. 
All classes provided through Zoom

Take a break from the routine of life in quarantine with this online yoga retreat!   Six classes spread throughout the day will take you deeper into lesser known yoga practices including pranayama, chanting, mudra, & meditation.  After a short meet & greet, we'll begin the day with breath work and meditation followed by more active practice in late morning.  We'll have an opportunity to lunch together before meeting back in the afternoon for an introduction to chanting - from the comfort of your own home, and a discussion on how to live a yogic lifestyle.  We'll finish the day with a relaxing Yoga Nidra with Restorative Yoga and a brief closing circle.   With your enrollment, all classes are optional.  No retroactive refunds can be provided for missed classes.

Enroll in all six classes for $70 or choose three for $40.

8:05 AM- Pranayama 101 with Kathy & Missy

Pranayama is the technique of using breath to calm the mind and to prepare for stillness and meditation. It invites the feeling of liveliness into the body and mind. Through this Pranayama session you will be introduced more fully to breathing techniques which will then be used in asanas to prepare for meditation and reflection.

9:15 AM - Morning Meditation with Bridget

This 45 minute class will begin with some gentle movement before we settle in for a guided savasana and quiet meditation.

10:30 AM - Get Moving with Courtney

This practice will be suitable for all levels of students. Courtney will guide you through seated, standing, supine and balancing postures along with the breath to help you steady the mind and drop back into the body. Emphasis will be on utilizing the breath to really feel into the postures, bringing greater presence to your practice.

1:00 PM - Happy Sounds: An Intro to Chanting with Beth Evans

Chanting is a part of the traditional yoga practice, but it's rarely used in our classes or home practice today. In this special session, we'll get more comfortable with the most basic sounds and syllables that you can add to asanas to create internal vibrations which amplify yoga's healing aspects.

2:30 PM - Living a Yogic Lifestyle with Pat Barnes

Yoga is about much more than the physical shapes we make with our bodies.  In this hour long class, we'll discuss various precepts that form the foundation of yoga philosophy and how to incorporate them into your daily life in order to feel more tranquility and less stress.

4:00-5:00 PM - Yoga Nidra & Restorative Yoga with Vicki Banister

Return your body to a state of balance and calm with restorative yoga. Melt into gentle yoga poses supported by bolsters, blocks and blankets to support the body in easeful stretching to release tension and stress. (Books and pillows will work if you do not have a bolster or blocks!) We will end with an extended savasana and Yoga Nidra, a guided conscious relaxation meditation, allowing for deep levels of healing to occur on the physical, mental and emotional planes. All levels are welcome.
